Mango Chow Recipe using Chief Brand Products

"Chief's Zesty Mango Blaze”

Ingredients
  

  • 2 green mangoes, peeled and sliced
  • 1 tbsp Chief C Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1 tsp Chief Garlic Powder
  • 1 tbsp Chief Salt (to taste)
  • 1 tsp Chief Black Pepper
  • 1 bundle Chadon Beni
  • 2 Juice of limes (optional)
  • 1 tbsp Chief Amchar Masala (optional, for extra flavour)

Method
 

  1. Prepare the Mangoes:
    Start by peeling the green mangoes and slicing them into thin strips or bite-sized chunks. Place the mango slices into a large mixing bowl.
  2. Season the Mangoes:
    Addthe Chief Crushed Red Pepper Flakes, Chief Garlic Powder, Chief Salt, ChiefBlack Pepper, and Chadon Beni to the bowl with the mangoes. If you like adeeper, slightly roasted flavour, add the Chief Amchar Masala.
  3. Add Lime Juice:
    Squeeze the juice of 2 limes over the seasoned mangoes. The lime juice will add a tangy freshness that complements the spices.
  4. Mix Thoroughly:
    Use a spoon or your hands to mix the mango slices and seasonings thoroughly, ensuring that each piece of mango is well coated with the spices and lime juice.
  5. Optional Heat:

    Let the Mango Chow sit for about 15-20 minutes to allow the flavours to meld together. Serve chilled or at room temperature as a tangy, spicy snack or side dish.
