Chief Brand Lasagna

  • 1 packet Lasagna noodles boiled according to package directions and drained
  • 1/2 lb Ground Beef seasoned with 1 tbsp Ground Chives & 2 cloves Minced Garlic
  • 2 Bell Peppers chopped
  • 3 cups Tomato Sauce
  • 2 cups Cheese grated
  • 3 cups Milk
  • 6 tbsp Butter
  • 4 1/2 tbsp Flour
  • Chief Brand Salt to taste
  • 1/4 tsp Chief Brand Ground Nutmeg
  • 1 tsp Chief Brand Oregano
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 2 tbsp Chief Brand Garlic and Parsley


  • Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. In a sauté pan, heat oil, add beef and brown, add tomato sauce, oregano, bell peppers and Chief Brand Garlic & Parsley Blend.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste. Cover and simmer, stirring occasionally until cooked about 20 minutes.
  • Meanwhile make the white sauce in a sauce pan, melt butter, add salt and black pepper to taste. Stir until thick. Remove from heat.
  • Assemble lasagna, using a large baking dish, 9 inch by 13 inch, spread 1/2 cup meat sauce in bottom of dish, cover with layer of pasta. Spread 1/3 of the white sauce over top, sprinkle cheese, repeat procedure making about 3 layers and ending up with sauce at the top.
  • Cover with remaining cheese and bake for about 30 minutes until bubbly.
