Chief Indian Spiced Roasted Chicken

  • 4 lbs Chicken whole
  • 2 tsp Chief Brand Salt
  • 1 tsp Chief Brand Black Pepper
  • 1/2 cup Natural Yogurt
  • 4 tbsp Chief Brand Biryani Spice Seasoning
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1/2 tbsp Chief Brand Garlic & Parsley Seasoning
  • 3 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 3 cloves Garlic crushed
  • 1 tsp Ginger crushed


  • Preheat the oven to 400°Farenehit
  • Place chicken on ckean surface and season with the salt and pepper.
  • Combine the Biryani Seasoning with the yogurt, sugar, lemon juice, garlic, ginger and mix well.
  • Loosen the skin over the chicken breast then rub the marinade over the chicken, under the skin and into the cavities of the bird properly.
  • Place the chicken into a roasting dish.
  • Place into the oven and allow to roast for 20 minutes at 400°F then turn the heat down to 350°F and allow to roast for another 30-40 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
  • Remove the roast chicken from the oven and allow to rest for 10 minutes before carving and serving.
