Chief Brand Chicken Gyro

- 5 lbs Chicken Breast (This can also be done with lamb and beef steaks)
- 1 tbsp Chief Brand Salt
- 1/2 tbsp Chief Brand Black Pepper
- 3 tbsp Vegetable Oil
- 3 tbsp Chief Brand Gyro Spice Mix
- 12 each Gryo Flat Breads
- 2 Large Tomatoes, sliced
- Handful Local Lettuce, chopped
- 1/2 cup Garlic Mayonnaise
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a roasting pan with aluminum foil.
Season chicken breast with salt and black pepper, ensuring to rub liberally all over the surface area of the meat.
In a small bowl, combine the Vegetable oil and Gyro Spice blend and mix well.
Place chicken breast on a rack in the prepared roasting pan.
Generously rub the gyro spice marinade all over the chicken breast.
Place into oven and roast until it reaches an internal temperature of 155 degrees Fahrenheit.
When chicken is cooked, remove from the oven, and let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing.
To prepare Gyros, take flat breads and warm gently on a tawa or microwave.
Slice a few pieces of chicken and place on the flat bread followed by sliced tomatoes, some lettuce and lastly drizzle with garlic sauce to your preference.
Gently roll the gyro bread enveloping all the ingredients to form a tight long log.
Wrap Gyro in parchment paper to help secure it and keep shape by tightening the ends of the paper.
With a serrated knife, slice the wrapped gyro in half, and place on your plate.
Serve gyro immediately and enjoy.
