Chief Brand Double Chocolate Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2/3 cup Margarine or Butter
  • 1/2 cup Chief Brand Cocoa
  • 2 tsp Chief Brand Cocoa Essence
  • 1 3/4 cups All Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 cup Nuts optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Cream butter and sugar well until combines, add egg and Chief Brand Cocoa Essence.
  3. Combine flour with Chief Brand Cocoa and baking soda, ass to creamed mixture.
  4. Fold in chocolate chips and nuts.
  5. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonful about 2 inches apart onto cookie sheet.
  6. Bake for 8-10 minutes
  7. Pairs well with Chief Brand Chocolate or Rainbow Sprinkles

Notes

You may omit the egg in this recipe; simply add a small amount of water or milk to moisten dough if necessary.
